Mummified bovine fetuses are a rare find. The video below was provided by a customer who currently uses the Easi-Scan:Go. The bovine veterinarian was able to easily save video footage of the mummified bovine fetus by using the IMV imaging Go app, capturing the rare sighting and saving it directly to their smart device.
Bovine fetal mummification occurs in less than 2% of cows. Thankfully, it is easy to diagnose with ultrasound. Signs of mummification include lack of placental fluid, a compact immobile mass, and no heart beat.
