The Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) exists to support, empower, and inspire all veterinary students in improving their lives, education, and career, along with securing a better future for our profession through collaboration with our parent organization, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

SAVMA's mission was clear upon arriving at the 2019 SAVMA Symposium. The energy was electric walking through the glass doors of the convention center as vet students from all over the states eagerly gathered. The weekend provided like minded students to network, attend lectures, and participate in wet labs.

IMV imaging was proud to sponsor the large animal wet lab allowing students to utilize our latest ultrasound equipment, Easi-Scan:Go Curve paired with the BUG:Go wireless goggles. Students and professors alike marveled at the ease of the scanner for teaching purposes. The wireless cow ultrasound Easi-Scan:Go Curve connects to 3 different devices simultaneously. This gave students the chance to scan the cow wearing wireless goggles, while the professors saw the same ultrasound image on their phone.

The crew was very grateful for their experience with the innovative ultrasound equipment.

IMV imaging gladly sponsors wet labs at Colleges of Veterinary Medicine throughout the year. If you are interested in scheduling one, please submit your request here.
